Cinnamon

SCD Foster Cinny Bun Bun has completed her second month of heartworm treatment!! We are positive that Cinnamon will fully recover and live a long and healthy life! For more information on adopting a HW+ dog, please visit our FAQs page.

Cinny here!! I’ve been living with my foster family since December 2021 and I’m finally learning that not all people are bad and I’m getting pretty used to being pampered! Here is a quick recap about my life!  You see I had a pretty rough start to life so I have some trust issues, but once you show me I can trust you I will be your best friend. It just takes me a while to warm up!

Food and toys- well you see I’m extremely food and toy driven!! Sometimes my foster parents say I get a little over stimulated with my squeaky toys and I have to take a small break! But that’s ok!! The parentals just tell me to go to bed and I happily go sit in my kennel for a few minutes.

Other dogs/pets- let’s just say I prefer to be the center of your attention!!

Age/weight- I thought it was rude to ask a lady those questions.. but if you must know I’m 7-9 years young and weigh about 55 pounds!

House training- I’m 100% House trained and crate trained. I haven’t had a single accident! I don’t mind my kennel BUT I do require a “snack” if you’re going to close the door! I’m a little… territorial over my bedroom.

Other Info- I know sit, lay down, go to bed, wait (I’m still working on this one), backup, look, listen, and inside voice. I can also go get my toys if you tell me to!! I mean I’m not 100% on all of these but I’d say I’m pretty smart! I also take some daily medication to help me with my anxiety.  I do need to be in a home with experienced parents who aren’t afraid of a little “sass” I just like to speak my mind and I’ve been told I’m very opinionated and maybe a little stubborn!  Thank you for taking the time to read and learn about me! If I sound like the perfect girl for you please fill out an application for me!!

Love,

Cindy
