We are a 100% volunteer run nonprofit rescue organization for Carolina Dogs and Carolina Dog mixes. From our essential foster families and transport volunteers to those working behind the scenes, everyone involved in keeping this rescue running does so out of the kindness of their heart and dedication to giving Carolina Dogs a second chance at life and the loving forever home they deserve.
Our roots are based in a community formed on social media and making personal connections. That community is an integral part of our growth, success, and the support system that keeps us going. We have a Facebook group that posts updates, pictures, and videos of the dogs we have under our care.
While we try to keep our public Facebook page and website updated with the latest information, a majority of communication regarding where volunteers are needed for incoming rescues or transport takes place on our private group page.
We welcome you to join to be able to see realtime rescue updates, participate in events, and connect with other Carolina Dog lovers. Whether it's seeking advice, support during a difficult time, or sharing how adorable your dog is, we love being able to connect with our continuously growing community and see so many Carolina Dogs living their best lives.

Back in 2011 Saving Carolina Dogs Rescue and Adoption Network was started as a passionate networking group because we love this breed. Over the years we realized that there was a need for more than that and we began to grow. With a network of fosters and volunteers across the country, we are now able to initiate rescue in areas where we have available resources. Saving Carolina Dogs utilizes volunteer foster homes across the country which enables us to get to know what each dog is like. Every dog is different and being able to see their unique personalities and needs gives us the ability to properly match our dogs with the best possible home.
