Nala is a true Carolina Dog puppy - curious, playful, goofy, and full of energy! She loves to play chase and wrestle with her foster sister until they’re worn out and ready for naps on the couch. Nala has had canine companions since birth and relies on the pack for confidence, so it's best for her to go to a home with another confident dog that is at least 40lbs and energetic due to her size and play style. She also loves attention and being the star of the show, so the more time you have available to spend with her the better- her foster parents have been stay at home due to the pandemic making Nala accustomed to having constant companionship.
She LOVES to play chase, jump, has a high prey drive, and strong tracking instincts. Therefore, we don’t think a home with cats would be a good fit. She still has that puppy mentality and often forgets her size when she greets someone or is playing, however, she is very friendly and will promptly roll over for anyone willing to give her a belly rub. She is incredibly smart and trained to ring jingle bells on the door when she needs to go potty and knows basic commands but would highly benefit from continued obedience training as she loves to learn - and the treats that come with that training process are a huge plus in her book!
Nala is one of the most affectionate dogs in the world and will be the perfect addition to a pack and a loving and loyal companion for life!
