Chance

image1014

We've never met a boy with a more suited name than Chance. He has been through so much and if anyone deserves a second chance at a wonderful life, it's him. He is currently with Pawsitive Canine Care, a daycare/boarding/training center in Maine that works with rescues.

Chance, our favorite big boy, is such a goofy and sweet boy but his confidence has waned making him feel the need to be hyper-aware of his surroundings.  This hyper-awareness leads to stress and anxiety and can cause reactiveness in some situations. This is not an uncommon behavior, especially with rescues, but it does require the patience, structure, and behavioral experience that the team at Pawsitive Canine Care is willing and able to provide. He is in great hands and exactly where he needs to be build his confidence and thrive. Chance has a bright future ahead of him and we welcome you to follow his journey as he wows us with his training and prepares for adoption!

Recent update:

Chance is looking for his forever home this year! He LOVES other dogs. He would do best in a low-traffic home without littles running around. He would prefer to hang out around the house rather than attend doggy daycare or go on crazy hikes. He is very food motivated which makes for easy training! He is fully house trained and knows basic cues.
